Ball & Doggett System Upgrade

Dear Valued Customer,

I am writing to advise of an impending system upgrade at Ball & Doggett effective Monday the 2ⁿᵈ of 
September.

The upgrade is designed to improve service levels and response times to our customers, support 
future growth plans and drive operational efficiency.

As part of the system upgrade you will notice some slight changes to the formatting of our 
documents, including invoices, statements, picking slips and stock reports. We want to reassure you 
that these changes will not affect how you do business with us and we are committed to ensuring 
minimal disruption through this period.

In addition, we are excited to announce the introduction of sign-on-glass proof of delivery and 
enhanced tracking capabilities for all metropolitan deliveries, ensuring a more streamlined and 
reliable service experience for our customers while still providing the normal paperwork to enable 
easy checking of deliveries.

To ensure a successful transition onto the new system please note the following one-off changes at 
the end of this month.

•  Metro order cut off time for deliveries required on Friday 30ᵗʰ of August and Monday 2ⁿᵈ 
September will be Thursday 29ᵗʰ at 2pm (AEST) including orders placed on the online ordering 
portal.
•  Regional deliveries will have a cut off time of 12pm, Thursday 29ᵗʰ August.
•  Guillotining (cutting) orders cut off time is Tuesday 27ᵗʰAugust 12pm for delivery Friday 30ᵗʰ 
August 2024.
•  Ink Mixes order cut off time is 5pm Wednesday 28ᵗʰ August 2024 for delivery Friday 30ᵗʰ August 
2024.
•  Converting (Sheeting, Slitting & Rewinding) – please allow an extra day to the lead time during 
the period starting from 29th August to Friday 6th of September.
•  All B&D sites will be open on Friday 30ᵗʰ August to receive orders and take enquiries however we 
are unable to process, despatch or deliver orders on that day.
•  Normal trading will recommence on Monday 2ⁿᵈ September.

All end of month consignment and replenishment will be brought forward to the week commencing the 
26ᵗʰ of August.
