METAGUARD 702 MATT CLEAR O/LAM

Product Information

MetaGuard 702 has a matt finish and is a 70 micron polymeric calendered self-adhesive vinyl overlaminate with UV inhibitors, suitable for lamination of interior or exterior applications. Overlaminating with MetaGuard 700 provides increased resistance to abrasion and durability of the print. When applied over Metamark MD5 digital print media the products provide a matched system. It can be applied over flat or semi-curved surfaces and has a solvent-based adhesive that eliminates problems during wet application.
The rule of thumb is the overlaminate must match or excess the life of the media.

  • Ensure that the material has reached room temperature and a relative humidity of 50% before printing.

  • Allow the inks to cure before overlaminating, this is usually 24-48 hours (darker colours can be longer).
  • Suitable for use on Eco Solvent, Solvent and Latex prints.
  • The product is matched to MD5. Matched laminates prevent tunnelling and delamination.
