Metamark Digital Translucent is an 80 micron polymeric calendered self-adhesive film, with 38% light transmission. Having been designed specifically for backlit panels and light boxes, the Metamark Digital Translucent is a satin finish to produce marginal glare and constant colour when printed Solvent or Eco Solvent printers.

Face Film:
- Face Film Polymeric calendered PVC
- Gauge 80 micron nominal
Adhesive:
- Type: Crystal clear solvent-based acrylic
Release Liner:
- Print: ‘Metamark T series’ blue print
- Weight: 140 gsm nominal
- Type: Layflat kraft with PE coating
Material Handling:
- Ensure that the material has reached room temperature and a relative humidity of 50% before printing.
- Do not handle the face film directly and ensure it is free from dust and static. Printing Guidelines
- Suitable for use on Solvent, Eco Solvent, Latex and UV inkjet printers. Always perform a test print first.
- Ensure that the correct profiles and heater settings are used. Most profiles are available for download from www.metamark.co.uk.
- To achieve the correct colour intensity for backlit applications, a double print pass is recommended.
Overlaminating and Application:
- Allow the inks to cure before cutting flush to the print. before use, or overlaminating, this is usually 24-48 hours
- The matched laminate for MDT is MetaGuard 703. For all other laminates the user should determine suitability.
- The user should determine suitability of substrate, refer to the web site. Not recommended for use on low energy surfaces.
Durability:
- External weathering: 5 years (unprinted - European conditions)
- Fire Rating: Class B. BS EN 13501-1:2007
