Metamark MD5 High Tack Blockout is a 70 micron, white gloss digitally printable film. Developed for applications to difficult to stick to surfaces like, smooth low energy plastics (PE and PP) as well as for interior wall decor applications (For use on smooth, sealed interior walls). MD5-H B/O has the MD5 face film with a high bond adhesive for assurance, combined with outstanding print performance to make your designs pop.

Printing and Handling:
- Solvent, Eco Solvent, Latex and U.V. inkjet printers
- Ensure that the correct profiles & heater settings are used. Most profiles are available for download from www.metamark.co.uk
- Ensure material has reached room temperature & a relative humidity of 50% before printing
- Do not handle the face film directly, ensure it is free from dust and static
- Overlamination is recommended to prevent abrasion, extends colour fastness, and also offers easier handling

- Allow the inks to cure before overlaminating, this is usually 24-48 hours. (Not applicable to HP Latex prints)
- • The matched laminate for MD5HB is MetaGuard MG-700 Series. For all other laminates the user should determine suitability.
Application:
- Allow a minimum of 24-48 hours for the solvents to dry off before application of the overlaminate, or to the substrate, depending on the print and drying conditions this can often be in excess of 48 hours. Retained solvents will reduce adhesion levels.
- Apply unstressed, in particular to curves and recesses.
- Not suitable for application over rivets or complex recesses.
- Suitable for wet application.
